Help using Javascript
Javascript enables web pages to interact with you, so that they can use your input to change the layout of the page. It's what makes the games on my site work, for example.
If Javascript is switched off, you will need to enable it to play the games on this site. First find out which browser version you are using by going to the menu along the top of the screen, selecting Help and then selecting About.
- If you have Internet Explorer version 8, go to Tools (on the right), Internet Options, Security, click on the Internet icon, click the Custom level button, scroll down to find the Scripting section (it's right near the bottom), find the Active Scripting options, click the radio button beside Enable, click OK, click OK again.
- If you have Internet Explorer version 6, go to Tools, Internet Options, Security, click on the Internet icon, go to Adaptive Scripting and enable it.
- If you have Internet Explorer version 4, go to View, Internet Options, Security, Settings, go to Adaptive Scripting and enable it.
- If you have Internet Explorer version 3, go to View, Options, Security and tick the box next to Run Active X Scripts.
- If you have Opera version 6, go to File, click on Quick Preferences, select to Enable Javascript
- If you have Netscape Navigator version 4, you can switch Javascript on by going to Edit, Preferences, Advanced and ticking the box next to Enable Javascript.
- If you have Netscape Navigator version 3, enable Javascript by going to Options, Network Preferences, Languages and then ticking the box next to Enable Javascript.
Note that you can follow similar steps if you want to switch off Javascript for some reason, but just select Disable or its equivalent in the settings.
