About this photo

A view of the Comedy Carpet, photographed through the glass floor of the Blackpool Tower. The design of the Comedy Carpet was inspired by music-hall style playbills and was created by artist Gordon Young. The carpet is 1880m2, and it's a real joy to visit. Around the edge, all the writers and performers are credited, but they're not credited next to their contribution, so you can have some fun working out who said what.
