As someone who performed in the opening ceremony of the London 2012 Olympic Games, I had a mixed relationship with blimps. One of the newspapers leaked aerial photos of our rehearsals, attributed to the Goodyear Blimp, which spoiled the surprise for some people. This blimp is a friendly one, though, used to film the ceremony for broadcast. The strange lighting fixture completes this picture nicely. I had to dance around it a bit to get the blimp (which was moving) somewhere useful in the frame.
