About this photo
The Batu Caves, in Malaysia, with the world's tallest statue of the Hindu diety Murugan, which was officially opened in January 2006. To the left of the statue, which is 42.7m tall, are the steps that lead up into the caves. There are 272 concrete steps, many of them quite narrow.
