About this photo
The distinctive red paint colour used on the Golden Gate Bridge is called international orange. I took this photo to almost fill the frame with it, showing the texture of the rivets (and their shadows in the bright California sun). I saved some space for the plaque at the bottom with the bridge name on, and for the bright blue sky.
