About this photo
Outside Grace Cathedral in San Francisco is a large circular labyrinth set into the pavement. Labyrinths featured in the design of medieval churches and cathedrals and are believed to have played a part in Christian worship. Grace Cathedral was completed in 1964, so the inclusion of a labyrinth here is inspired by earlier church traditions.
