UPDATE: Please see my new gallery of Paris photos here.
My photos from Paris include the Eiffel Tower, L'Arc de Triomphe and the Louvre as well as a few less conventional sights.
These photos were nearly all taken during December 2007 using a pocket digital camera. The Eiffel Tower is of course the icon of Paris, and after a walk up the stairs to the second floor, you certainly feel like you've earned the view. Along with Sacre Coeur and the Arc de Triomphe, it is one of three buildings that dominate the Parisian skyline.
The Louvre's architecture famously combines old and new, but the museum itself doesn't host any modern art. I was amused by a gallery that was closed though, with sheets draped over the statues. In some other galleries, that would be considered an installation.
My photo of La Defense taken at sunset from L'Arc de Triomphe dates from 1996.
