Photo of the Holocaust Memorial, Berlin
|23 of 24|
The Holocaust Memorial, Berlin. 2,711 concerete slabs are arranged in rows and columns. They are of different heights, and the ground itself slopes downwards, so at times the slabs are 15ft tall, towering over you, creating a claustrophobic atmosphere, as you walk between them.
