Some of the humour on the Comedy Carpet in Blackpool doesn't quite work in that context. The Two Ronnies' Four Candles sketch is written out, but it loses a lot of its subtlety on the page (or on the floor, in this case). Here's the Comedy Carpet's tribute to Monty Python. Again, much of this isn't actually funny written down, but Monty Python is such a British comedy institution it would be a crime to leave it out. Most of the Comedy Carpet is text, but they've allowed themselves an iconic illustration here of the foot coming down.
