Photo of the restored Great Wall of China
|75 of 78|
The restored Great Wall of China offers spectacular views, a safer walking environment, and a good indication of what the wall originally looked like. It was less satisfying to walk than the deserted unrestored wall, although we were fortunate to see few people on this more touristy stretch. To take this photo, I waited for some people to walk down the hill and out of sight.
