Photo of Mont St Michel, France
|3 of 21|
From a distance, Mont St Michel looks like a pile of buildings in the middle of the bay. The weather was overcast when I was there, but brightened up later for some other photos. I love the soft clouds in this photo though - they give the picture a watercolour quality that wasn't present in the pictures I took with clearer skies. Mont St Michel is a UNESCO World Heritage site and the monastery there dates back to the 8th century AD.
