Here you can see the crew and passengers collapsing the hot air balloon envelope. One of the great things about taking a balloon flight like we did is that you don't just get in and take off: you get to help set up and break down the balloon again, so you have a real insight into how hot air balloons work. As the air is squeezed out of a section, the crew member gathers it up and ties it together. When it's all deflated, the crew and passengers work together to get the envelope back into the bag it arrived in.
