|19 of 21|
This is a photo of the Obelisk of Theodosius, which stands in Istanbul in the Hippodrome of Constantinople. It was established by Thutmose III (1479–1425 BC) in Egypt, moved by the Roman emperor Constantius II to Alexandria in Egypt, and finally moved to what is now Istanbul by Theodosius (378-392 AD).
