Photo of sea lions at Pier 39, San Francisco
|1 of 77|
Pier 39 in San Francisco is home to a colony of California sea lions that gradually moved there from Seal Rock, starting in 1989. The number of sea lions there fluctuates greatly. I took this photo on a trip to San Francisco in 2009.
