This photo shows the Haight-Ashbury street sign. This area in San Francisco is known for its hippie subculture, and there are lots of shops selling pipes and other smoking paraphernalia. The large independent record store Amoeba Music is also in this area. The decor in the area is eccentric in places. You can see some giant stockinged legs and a cartoon figure making the peace sign in this photo.
