Photo of a peace sign in the Golden Gate Park in San Francisco, USA

This sign in the Golden Gate Park reads "Be the peace you want to see in the world". I don't know whether it was created purely to be left in the park by someone who wanted to inspire passers-by, or whether it was abandoned after a march or rally. San Francisco and the nearby Haight-Ashbury area in particular are famous for their role in the flower power and hippie scene of the 60s.
