When we visited Odaiba Island in Tokyo, there was an 18m tall Gundam statue, there to promote the Gundam Front Tokyo exhibition in the Diver City Tokyo shopping mall. Gundam is a popular Japanese sci-fi series, and this robot has also appeared in the video game series Super Robot Wars and in many commercial promotions. For this robot model, there was a narrative that was played back, and the robot made small movements and had smoke coming out of it at different points in the story.
