Photo of a red, white and blue face

I zoomed in to take this photo of the eyes and face of of a large statue in Haw Par Villa. This is one of my favourite photos. The statue was a large red, white and blue face. I think I might have zoomed in because there were distracting details in the background (probably people), but it made for a more striking composition in any case. Like all my 1997 Singapore photos, this one was shot on film and then scanned. When I first put a sliding puzzle game online in the late 1990s, this was one of the photos I used for it. You can play a sliding puzzle of it below (as you can for all my travel photos).

To play, click or tap the tiles (on a desktop PC) or slide them (on the iPad, iPhone, iPod or Android). There's a puzzle for all my photos, so once you've completed this one, why not try another photo in this gallery, or pick another gallery?
