This photograph shows Big Ben, the clock on the Houses of Parliament, the UK's seat of government in London. London is near where I live, so I suppose it's not strictly 'travel photography' for me, although it might be for you depending on where you live.
But how often do you hear people talking about local tourist attractions and saying they've never seen them? If you're in or near a major city, chances are people are travelling from all over the world to see the things residents amble past daily without noticing.
(And yes before you email your corrections, strictly speaking Big Ben is the name of the bell in the clocktower and not the clock or the tower itself).
